Unveiling the New Me: A Journey of Transformation!

Those Were Dark Days!

COVID was hard on everyone, with each person having a unique tale of struggle and resilience to share. As someone reliant on commission-based income, (a very successful company I had grown from the ground up as an agency), the sudden drying up of my earnings left me in a state of uncertainty. Nevertheless, I felt a glimmer of hope upon returning to work, only for my agency to be swiftly snatched away from me by the ruthless greed of a corporate organisation, leaving me without employment and feeling broken, disheartened and lost..

In the midst of these hardships I faced another blow with the passing of my father. Plunging me into a period of the deepest darkness where my mental health suffered, and the body weight pilled on day by day. It was during this trying time that a beacon of light appeared. This in the form of my friend Belinda. She introduced me to Karen, an individual whose life had been transformed by the WILDFIT program.

New Beginnings.

Though initially very skeptical about the program I didn’t know much about. I embarked on a journey of self-discovery. Conducting extensive research to ensure I wasn’t being led astray. What I found was beyond my expectations: a life and nutritional coach, Kerry Dell. Kerry not only preached but lived the principles of WILDFIT. She offed me guidance and support that went beyond mere weight loss.(although this was a plus)

Through WILDFIT I discovered a community of individuals who also shared my struggles. Reaffirming that I was not alone in my journey towards better health and well-being. Under Kerry’s mentorship, I gained a profound understanding of nutrition. Realizing that this was not just about shedding kilograms but embracing a holistic lifestyle change.

Inspiration when you need it.

Our weekly Zoom meetings became a source of inspiration and enlightenment as we delved into the realms of mindset, heart-set, soul-set, and health-set, in each session. These sessions propelling me further along the path of personal growth. From the simple things like knowing the 65 hidden names of sugar to the lifesaving, life changing lifestyle I (we) now lead. Looking back on my progress two years later I am astounded by how far I’ve come. I have shed 13 kilograms and undergone a transformative shift in perspective. I am now very conscious about the way we eat and think about food.

As I celebrate my second anniversary with WILDFIT, I find myself eagerly revisiting the 90 Day Challenge, an awesome challenge I might just add. I am eager to deepen my knowledge and continue evolving. And with a newfound sense of purpose, I am more than willing to extend a helping hand to others embarking on their own journey of self-discovery.
